So, I think I am moving…

Communication lines can be the first thing to tear people apart. If you don’t pay close attention to the fine details, they can easily come back around to catch you off guard. I’m spooked by that kind of fright; especially in this season.
But the fall brings better things. The sun sleeps in a little longer, only to cast brilliant colors through the trees once it awakens. The wind carries an aroma that changes with the time of day. Its one of those seasons that you can feel getting closer and almost taste its presence.
I won’t be the one to let this one go to waste.
By this point, I’ve already circled the block a few times. And I’m more than sure this is what I was looking for…

This is me.
Right now.
In Madison, Wisconsin.
At the merchandize table…

:)

Don’t mind me…

I bought a football. It’s not an official size one - its the youth size which is a bit better for my hands. But I figured I should work on my spiral.

Fall tour starts Wednesday. I have clothes to wash, pack and pick out. Then I drive again to Nashville, which is becoming much too common of a trip. I have plans for the tour though, consisting mostly of frisbee, running, working out and eating good food.

The band (wakethegay) finished tracking the record. We’re excited because everything came out the way we wanted it to. We’re currently debating who we want to mix the record. There are so many great people with great styles. More to come on that, I’m sure.

I hate phones that don’t call people. And phones that don’t ring. Stresses me out.

Steelers play the Ravens in a bit. I know ki-ross wants his team to win, but its going to be a tough defense to play. My fantasy teams are doing too hot. That’s a bummer.

I’d like to see a movie before I leave for tour. Hmm. Maybe I’ll finish downloading the office instead and watch the first episode of the fifth season. I hear Jim proposes to Pam!

My house is nine miles from Mt. Washington.

Tomorrow I’ll be stretching that distance to hundreds. Not so great…

Leaf-ing…

I kind of hate this, but looking at my calendar - it just dawned on me that I will be gone until November 3rd starting tomorrow night.

I have some shows with the band, and then I go to Nashville to finish recording, and then I’m gone with Relient K for a month, except for one weekend when I come back for my sisters wedding.

Kind of a bummer, because there were so many things I didn’t get to do. Many things I didn’t finish.

I literally won’t  be in town but for like a couple days and then I’m out for good.

:(

I’ll let everyone know - but I’d like to go to a haunted house on the 11th or 12th of Oct.

We’ll see.

[Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

A little side track we might put on the waketheday album. We shall see…

oops.

Ha! I put vh1 all over that last blog.

I think I share anger for both.

No one is laughing…

Russel Brand is not funny.

I mean seriously, has Vh1 & mtv always been left-wing mercenaries? He started out introducing the VMA’s and the next he was trying out some type of stand-up comedy with his ‘quite-annoying’ New Zealand accent. It was like he was on crack, barely took a breath the entire time he was on the set.

I particularly enjoyed the 32 Jonas Brothers jokes - or stabs. I’m not sure that making a joke of their virginity was all that funny. Of course, we all know that if all else fails - a Bush joke is bound to bring the house down with side-splitting laughter. I know I was on the floor…

This channel makes me more mad everytime I leave it on for more than a few seconds.

The least they could do is teach their hosts how to hold the microphone so it doesn’t cover their face.
